Robert Barton is a native of Wise County, Virginia and has lived in Charlottesville for over 30 years. He and his wife, Virginia, have raised fours sons during their time in Charlottesville. He earned a B.A. in Business and Economics from King College in Bristol, Tn. in 1977 and completed two years of graduate work in accounting at the University of Virginia in 1981. Prior to entering the real estate business, Robert practiced public accounting as a CPA for several years in the mid 1980’s.
