Joe Milby is a native of Charlottesville and a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia School Of Engineering. With over twenty years experience in construction management, Joe`s building expertise ranges from residential to commercial. He was the developer on the seventeen million dollar urban condominium project, The Randolph. Joe is respected for his keen attention to detail and for striving for excellence. David Sloan is a native of Charlottesville and a 1977 graduate of the University of Virginia where he played football and lacrosse and was a member of Zeta Psi Fraternity, Eli Banana, Imp Society and lived on the Lawn as a 4th year.

After a 20 year career as the owner of Sloans Restaurant in Charlottesville, David entered the real estate business in 2000 and has sold over $100,000,000 in real estate, consistently placing him in the Top Producers category in the local Realtor association.  In 2008, David left Roy Wheeler Realty Co.  and happily formed Sloan Milby Real Estate Partners along with Joe and Lindsay Milby and the success continues. 

David and his wife, Kim, have 3 daughters and live in the Earlysville area of Albemarle County.

Carol Cooper Carder, a native of Charlottesville, left an extended career with the UVA School of medicine in 2007 to fulfill her passion for Real Estate. During her career at UVA Carol has welcomed hundreds of new medical and research faculty, residents and staff to the Charlottesville area. Many of you already know Carol as an avid community leader through her many years of volunteer services and fundraising for several area non-profit organizations. Carol’s experiences in commercial and residential design and renovation have provided her with a unique perspective that is sure to help her clients in buying or selling their homes. Carol’s innovative history in marketing and advertising coupled with her strong business background and genuine love for helping others has proven to create a wonderful combination for a successful career in Real Estate. Sue Raupp, having over 16 years in the real estate business, has seen the market cycle before and knows that patience is the key. Sue also can totally empathize with her clients. Having spent 23 years as the spouse of a member of the active military that included over 19 moves, she truly understands all the ups and downs of the moving experience. “ I have several degrees and a number of real estate designations, but I don’t think anything serves me better than my having been in my clients’ shoes many times.” Sue knows the market and buying process.

She is married to Lloyd, who after active duty retirement began working at NGIC. Their older son, Chris. works at the University of Virginia and spends all his free time doing Special Olympics sports. Their younger son, Peter, lives in Charleston, WVA, where he is an attorney. He and his wife, Valerie, have one daughter, Jenna who is two.

Deborah Kingma, having for years helped people acquire new homes. I have concentrated especially on new construction, aiding in design, material selections and all the decisions necessary to successfully build a custom home that perfectly fits my client’s needs.

She is married to Doug (Kingma Developers) . Their daughter Kate is a flight attendant. Their son Dirk is in business with Doug building new homes.

Pat Wood has been a Realtor since 1973, having worked in Mantoloking, NJ and Hilton Head, SC prior to moving back to her native Charlottesville in 1999.  Over her years in real estate, Pat has taken pride in her working relationships and service to her sellers and buyers.  She treasures the many friendships she has made.  As a Realtor, Pat has experienced many ups and downs in the real estate market but feels optomistic about its future and improvements for the better.  She is an active member of First Presbyterian Church and is also an RN, volunteering on a regular basis as a nurse with the Charlottesville Free Clinic.

Lisa Bamford moved to the United States from Great Britain in 2002 after working for the U.S. Government at the American Embassy in London for 10 years. ‘I love living and working here in Charlottesville, I have a passion for helping people find the home of their dreams or helping them sell their current home.’ In her spare time Lisa loves to travel, watch movies and spend time with her husband David, 2 teenage children and her 2 dogs.
